Flower-Pano by Edgar Emmels |
Painting Poppies by Irma Weber |
Gegen die Zeit by Steinfeld |
All these pictures are from the Art Market on the WHITEWALL website. You can get lost for a while on there. This morning these 3 caught my attention and i wanted to put them somewhere to remind me to go back and look again later when i have time, so just thought I'd share them on here.

Sail away
Morning sails -
tranquility & that lovely whiteness you get looking out to sea with a new sun.
Summer sails -
holiday time and all the boats come out to play.
Racing sails -
all the colours, painting the sea like a prism refracting the light.
Evening sails -
catching the last hues of the sky before they sink into the horizon.

messing with paints
I just don't seem to be able to paint with reds, I try, but I just end up painting over them, it's all blues and green. Must be my calm tranquil period.
Something missing on here so I took it outside and photographed with sun, shadows and plants.
hum... is it missing spiky skinny yellows..?
oranges and bright yellow greens...?
or pinks...?
Will leave it for another day...
and go back to these green Shropshire landscapes which I don't seem to be able to escape from...

Self-Indulgence
from simple daisies on white...
to a complicated layered lace effect, finding what works and what doesn't ... loving the process...
and the results xx

Did I !?
Well did I find my inspiration ? and what happened to Day 30?
Day 30 was spent in London, eating, walking, listening to music & people watching.
The music was inspiring, and so was the choice of sushi on Oxford street, though not the rest of Oxford street but as the music was in Hyde Park, Oxford street is excused.
Creativity has gone on and is getting better, though if I want to earn some money from it, a lot of my textile work is now going to have to be kept private.
The 30 day's has been a great experience for me and definitely got me excited about my art, design and painting. Making the time to be creative is the hardest thing but I'm going to stick at it. I'll put some more pics up here soon.

29 my head
sea rays |
Tomorrow is day 30 and I won't be here to blog, that's not to say I won't be creative just won't get it up here on the last day! but as I've already decided this is too good to stop it's not going to be my last day. Now all I have to do is work out how I make money doing what I love thanks Beth, and thank you Sam for getting us both enrolled back into our Art.
This 'Sun's rays' illustration began as my painting, then photographed, photoshopped, filtered, layered and generally me just being totally self indulgent with my mac.
I'm going to put these two up on the white wall gallery and get myself one! in celebration of my 30 days.
